Family Shoot : The Privots

It was a beautiful, windy, cold.. freezing day, too days ago!

But these three were such good sports haha!

Family shoots can be a little "awkward" (ahah) but  the whole time we were laughing and no awkwardness here! ;)  I didn't even need to ask them to "smile", because they just made each other smile!

These photo's were a Christmas present for their mom, (BTWS: Merry Christmas!!)
and she was totally blessed!

She's beautiful so I took a lot of her, haha :)

The beautiful windy cold day seamed to really work for us!
I had an awesome time with you guys!

Sunday

Saturday (Personal/Christmas)

Since I'm trying to keep my word on the whole "Saturday post thing" here you go,

So this is my favvvvveee* artist, Florance (from Florance and the machine) And her album is on my christmas list.
I love her style and sound and she has a great voice!

So on another note I'm starting to get a NEW website being built!
(I'm so so so excited) it's kinda' like my own Christmas present to my self, ha ha weird?

Also (and this is just what I've heard around the house..) But um new camera, say what?
Possibly!!
So who's excited for Christmas?

(P.S) You still have time to get 25% off photos! and next year my prices are going up!

The Lotinsky's

 Joy: noun
feeling of great pleasure and happiness tears of joy the joy of being alive.
• a thing that causes joy.

This Family sure did have a lot of it!
Meet the Lotinsky's

When I started to think about it, I really have different relationships with some of their family,
one was my soccer coach, one is another photographer (which made this whole shoot so much more creative).

Bottom line, I had a blast.

Header/Template

So, I've always had a hard time choosing my blog style & etc, So it's always been changing!
But right now I'm working on a header that's going to make my blog and then I'll be done changing it up so much ;-)

Saturday

Saturday Post: Bride

I'm starting to think, that the "Saturday Post" should really be the "I haven't posted in a while, post".
Oh well, I apologise,

Anyways here are pictures NONE you have seen! (and I'm serious;))

They are all from a beautiful wedding from the end of the summer, and this lovely brides name is Katie!
I wanted to do a post that only have pictures of the bride, so I hope you enjoy!

p.s ( have any questions about my business? Any questions about me and photography? Leave your comment asking, and next "Saturdays post" will be question and answer! :))

Sunday

Looooong time no see (personal)

Heeeey guys!
again long time no see.
Good news: I have SO much to blog!
Bad news: I don't have time...

So here is my "idea", I blog at least once every Saturday!
Haha I guess that sounds re'dunkulous for most "photographers" but when your in school, it's deff' not so "redunkulous".

And if I'm not keeping my word (ha) you blog stalkers should keep me accountable! There always could be something in it for you!

                                                                                                                                  (From a family shoot)

Saturday

Light. (Your questions answered)

If you've noticed anything about my photography, or some kind of patterns I make with my photos, it's light.
I loooveeeee 5:30-7:30 lighting, that's my golden photo taking time. (literally)

I've had a lot of people ask me how I get the bright colors and beautiful sun-lighting, and this is my answer:
Go out shooting between 5:30-7:30 and look for really good patches of that golden light, and just

experiment with it. Ask one of your siblings or friends to model for you.

*(Normally I have some one sitting down and have the light coming from behind them, you should

never have someone posing where the sun is in front of them, because you end up with watery eyes, red face, or you create a shadow.)

Have any other questions about what I do/ how I shoot.
Email me :)

Sunday

Sooo, It's not like I just haven't been "in the mood to post".

It's called, "going to back to school.

On that note I apologize, buuuuut at the same time I do have a lot to be posted,

so just keep your eye out for all the new things that will be up soon!

(one of those posts will be this wedding, it was beautiful).

* Also, I'm redoing my blog, so if it looks funky in the next couple of days, you know why!

Friday

Who would of known, that coffee could bring two people together? ( Or working at a coffee shop!)
Well, it worked out quite nicely for these two.

Shooting Krista and Mikes wedding was awesome, I really got to see how much they love each other, and you could totally tell that they are best friends. ( i love that.)

I had just met both of them a week before they're wedding when we did there engagement shoot, and at first it was kinda stiff, and yes awkward, but by the time of the wedding, we worked together perfectly!

(Krista has some awesome faces during they're ceremony, I can't wait to show you Krista haha).

(Personal faveee)

They're adorable.

This was such a great idea, and a beautiful way to end they're night!
Congratulations :)
