A month ago, I said that I was going to be making some changes in my photography. Well, I am officially done shooting weddings; I am now going to be advertising as a Fine arts & Portrait photographer. For a while I have been trying to make my self mold into a "Wedding photographer" and I have had the privilege for five years to be able to say that I am one and enjoy many days with beautiful couples. However I am growing up, and so is my photography.

I love art and honestly I feel more connected to my photography when I can say & believe it is art. So, I am very excited to say that now I will be changing my marketing to fine art/portrait photography! This is going to be able to give me the chance to do photo concepts, projects, and have more control over my photos.

But! This does not mean that I am stopping shoots over all! I will still be shooting requests ( families / couples / ect,.).

My new website & blog will be released January 7th, and I am SOOO EXCITED to show you all my photography's new "look" hehe.

I was second-shooting with the very lovely Lydia Jane last weekend, for this colorful joy filled couple.

Meet Tierra: I also just met her, and she was pretty calm for her wedding day, and as she sister was putting her make up her, I asked if I could help (ha, and we can pretend like it did (it didn't)), bottom line she was awesome and freakin' great style.

(I was going crazy over these shoes, L-O-V-E them!)

She looked stunning, ( & I'm a big fan of the red lipstick, mostly cause I can't pull it off, but it looks amazing on her) .

One of the best part's of this wedding, was the Bridal party, they were just ridiculously awesome.

I loved just being around them, because they were making this a celebration, which really helped with every one's nerves.

This was at their first look (before the wedding), and honestly I really like them, they are great for photo's, and are just too adorable.

And then,.. they were married :)

I love when everyone actually dances at receptions, so great.

This wedding was probably one of the most fun I've had at a wedding in a long time, & was extra helpful having such beautiful people.

Story Time:

Yesterday was my last day interning with Kristen, and all of us interns had a photo shoot together!
We had to create a "story" and then have our pictures be our story, so this is mine...

Here we have three girls, and one doesn't fit in at all..

This is Julia is alone in her darkness of her self, and wants to fit in, but she isn't sure how.

And they, want to help her out and learn to be joyful, but they aren't sure how, however they think if they are just them selves and happy then she will eventually follow their joyful spirits

They talk, and tell jokes, and hoping that it will work!

Today we started our branding, and I never have heard of this or done it before, but seriously it's so helpful!

(pretty much it's to help us see who/what we are in photography, style wise, photography wise.. really good stuff!)

All are true, aha :) then she had us go threw magazines finding pictures we liked, then we made a collage! today was a great start andddd also my birthday!

Family Shoot : The Privots

It was a beautiful, windy, cold.. freezing day, too days ago!

But these three were such good sports haha!

Family shoots can be a little "awkward" (ahah) but the whole time we were laughing and no awkwardness here! ;) I didn't even need to ask them to "smile", because they just made each other smile!

These photo's were a Christmas present for their mom, (BTWS: Merry Christmas!!)

and she was totally blessed!

She's beautiful so I took a lot of her, haha :)

If you've noticed anything about my photography, or some kind of patterns I make with my photos, it's light.

I loooveeeee 5:30-7:30 lighting, that's my golden photo taking time. (literally)

I've had a lot of people ask me how I get the bright colors and beautiful sun-lighting, and this is my answer:

Go out shooting between 5:30-7:30 and look for really good patches of that golden light, and just

experiment with it. Ask one of your siblings or friends to model for you.

*(Normally I have some one sitting down and have the light coming from behind them, you should

never have someone posing where the sun is in front of them, because you end up with watery eyes, red face, or you create a shadow.)

Who would of known, that coffee could bring two people together? ( Or working at a coffee shop!)

Well, it worked out quite nicely for these two.

Shooting Krista and Mikes wedding was awesome, I really got to see how much they love each other, and you could totally tell that they are best friends. ( i love that.)

I had just met both of them a week before they're wedding when we did there engagement shoot, and at first it was kinda stiff, and yes awkward, but by the time of the wedding, we worked together perfectly!

(Krista has some awesome faces during they're ceremony, I can't wait to show you Krista haha).

I've been pretty post happy recently, and since the wedding is over ( I don't think I'm gonna' do another post

unless some one really wants to see more pictures, but I think every ones gotten a good taste of that one!)

I don't have anything recent, but I will have some NEW engagement pictures by the end of this week!

( My little brother took this picture, I'm so proud!)

And then in two weeks a new wedding! I'm so excited business is blooming like crazy! I'm very excited for the future!

Buuuuut anyways, this summer now everything is really slowing down, no more vacations, helping out at

camps, 5 day festivals (creation fest) just keeping it slow, and I've been reading more. Like this book above,

haha (even tho it's a picture... ha.. ) I've been looking up things about Van Gogh. He has really become a

huge inspiration for me, and I'm starting to really love his work.

I think I checked out every book of his at our library haha!

the day they've been waiting so long for!

Just being with them you can see how much love they have for each other its so awesome, I love being around them, and I'm so exciting for they're wedding it's going to be an awesome day!

So we went to the AG Farm for these pictures, and that day was pretty much the nicest day we've had so far this week, I was really excited the whole time hehe!

( Like these, make me freak out. They might be two of my favorite pictures I've ever taken, it's like a rainbow in a picture, with out a rainbow. Yeah,)

I had just met David and Rhea the day of their wedding because I got was the second-shooter for Elise

Benjamen.

As soon as I met them I fell in-love with the two! They are both so in-love and you could completely tell the

love they not only had for others but also for the lord!

I was in shock when I met Rhea, I mean really! Look at her she is so beautiful!

They really made they're wedding focus on loving others, loving God, and the love they had between each

other, It was a really special wedding.

Can I just say, i loooove portaits.

I don't know , I've always been drawing to taking pictures of people, like others would have amazing fantastic pictures of nature and i'm all "yea it's ok, nice grass". However I haven't really picked up my camera and really used it since my inturnship with @Jenny James, that's were having good looking siblings

Liiiiiike yo, what up with all this snow?

Yeah. I'm pretty much that's how everyones been feeling. So today, as I was stuck in my house (just like the other five days,) I thought why not make the best of it and take some pictures. That led to me being stuck in the ''up to my waist'' snow and trying to take pictures. Not so great.

Today was the first day of my internship.

It was very exciting.

So day#1 : I wasn't tottaly sure what to exspect besides awesome Jenny her self (down there) and maybe some photgraphy envolved? (ha jokeee) She's an awesome photographer who is super duper creative, and just an great, wonderful, nice person.

I am crazy in-love with her house.

The past year for me;

So much has happend.

It really was a time of growth and learning for me. It was my freshmen year, a new school, basicaly just an explotion of "teenagerness".

I got to go to CA, I learn a whoooole lot more about photography! (woot woot!) and,

I got a new lens! = awesome.

Okie dokie. I know, I know.. I've been a horrible blogger for the past month and a half.. (or maybe I just really am not good at keeping up a blog?) Ha oh well! Well my life has been preeeetty awesome latly! I've been off break, and just chillin "Ha-ha", So these is what it's lead to. - Finaly being able to blog! My "New Year’s resolution is going to be: 1. Recently we have been having some "Auhmazing" fall weather, and that’s been quite a nice thing since this is for some the most busy time of year! (Or at least for us in school! Haha). However this past week has been, cold, miserable, and wet. So to help keeping the joy up, here are some warm sunshineful (Yep. So basicaly they are favorite people to talk to. Mr.Buchanan is a teacher at my school, and the boys varsity Coach, so I get to see him alot, and thats a good thing! He taught my brother 3rd grade last year, and my little brother Jesse said he is awsome.

(+ They're kids are pretty stinkin' cute, but they didn't really like they're pictures to be taken..)

Hey Blog!
No, I deff did not forget about you. Heres my story... So I am at a new school this year, and I have home-work every night, soccer before and I go to bed at like 9:0 my life is so crazy I can not even belive it. However! I was thinking about my blog.. and YES I do have new posts coming up but.. I am busy (remmber), so that meaning I might just do like a "mini" post. So I have a story for you.
(Btw isn't this lovely of Elise.. ha like back in last year?)

So im in my schools soccer team (YEAH!)
So We have been playing the hardest teams so far in our leage/out of it, and so today was one of the "okay easy teams". You know becuase we have lost 3 games in a row its like "Yeah... we will probble lose.. oh well he tried" Haa! But noot today. Today we got out there (and I feel like) we played with soo much heart! And my so exciting news! I helped score a goal!!!! My life is compleate.

SO! This was my first band photo session. (Yes I know kind of immature, and awkward to say, but there’s always a first for everything). Or, that’s what they tell me. These guys were pretty funny, and yes they did do a "good" job for me and over all did everything I asked for them to do.

I would deff be looking out for an EP or an album sooner then later, they don’t just take good pictures, but they sound pretty swell also!

Hey guys,
so I have been having a whole lot of fun out here. I'm starting to get a little home sick, but I'm good. Taylor Swift is helping me with all of my crazy emotions. Ha, So my church had a "Youth Retreat" for the youth of our church. And oh my was that quite exciting.

I was just at this fantastic place called "Gulalala", crazy name but it was super beautiful and fun.
Today was my last day there, the hardest part about being there was the "no" Cellphone connection, Internet, or anything. It was a teens (or at least my) nightmare. Scary eh?

(but isn't it just so beautiful, PC not me.)

Soooooo I said earlyer that I was gonna come back looking different, right? Well here's the deal. Tomorrow I'm dyeing my hair brown. Yup, I'm pretty excited, and btw it is pretty late 12:30AM California time, 3:30AM Maryland time, so most of this stuff I'm talking about probable isn't even very important to you. But still, your reading! :D Haha!

anyways most of this stuff is probable just stuff my mom wants to know. The thing is she probable wont even read this until I get back, ha,.. How about I text her tomorrow?

Well Well, i am here!
It totaly, was the LONGEST trip of my whole life. the plane ride felt like forever and, I'm pretty sure half of the people of the plane were little kiddos.. (meaning crying, screaming, yelling, ect..). Oh yes, It was ... "intense.
The worse was .. me, HA! I was behind this one poor man, who i keep sticking his chair, pushing him back and forth sticking him in the back. oh my feet were on his arm rest. poor man.

Anyways, I went to a high school wit my cousin, and basically I want to live here, everyone dresses amazing and ahh its just really cool. BUUUUT, I may come back looking different.. I'll post soon..!

"The" boys,

Were sooo funny, I shot a wedding with Kristen Snyder and she had me shoot the Grooms men/ect. But i did not k now i would be showing up alone to someones house, (I had never been to, or every seen any of these people before). Luckly for me no akwardness at all, and I had a blast!

And here, our suuuuper adorible Bride, Pam. And oddly she did remind me of "Pam from the office". Just alot cuter.

It was a great wedding and I got to experience 3 new things.
1. Wearing heels for the first time
2. My second wedding.
3. Saying I was in high school 3 times

This is random. But we both are just going to do a post on each other. Elise is my friend, and wonderful photographer, and amazing.
We became friends, I guess threw FLICKR (my life...) and did a photo shoot together, and honestly it was kind of awkward at first. She came to my house two summers ago; or last summer, and went in my woods, and all around my yard and did not say one peep, besides.. "Yeah if you lay in the water and look like your dead that might be a good picture". Ha-ha! Now we talk all of the time never have any awkwardness! She’s a blast! I love her!

SUMMER CELEABREATION!

This week was our chuchs camp "Summer Celeabreation".I got the pleasure of surving in it, and it's always so so much fun. This year I got the ten year olds, and even tho they are going threw that "STAGE" they are still super cute and fun!

Fruits of the spirt is the team this year, and everyday it's a fruit.

Onix is basicaly the bomb, (our coach).

I'm sad for it to end! But it's always sooo much fun, I hope everyone had a good time!
